Am I the only one who mails postcards? That’s what I did while I was in Malaga, Spain over winter. I love envisioning the surprise looks on my recipients’ faces and that image alone makes me happy! Make someone smile today! Do something spontaneous and kind. It doesn’t even matter if you’re travelling or not. Mail something for fun! Simply pop it in the postbox and send it to a friend. Because it’s a rarity these days to receive something nice, it makes us smile. It’s easier than you think.
This past February led me to reading The Book of Beginnings for a book club in Fuengirola. The story takes place in London where the main female character works in a stationery shop. This which got me thinking of buying some lovely linen note paper and the matching envelope and write a thoughtful sentiment and mail it off to a couple of non-suspecting people in your life. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful surprise!
