Hello Everyone. I hope you are well and have been enjoying your spring.
This year seemed exceptionally warm because cherry blossoms were out in mid February.
I have been super busy, and loving every minute so lots of share here.
If you follow me on FB, INSTA, THREADS, or my YOUTUBE Channel, that would keep you up to date on my writing journey.
The next newsletter is scheduled for the end of September. And if you can’t wait, check in regularly to my website. www.minglouiestein.com This is where I update regularly.
February 19, 2026. Four local authors, me included, welcomed an enthusiastic audience at the PoMo Arts Centre. Mallee Stanley, Krista Wallace and Suzanne Grant and I are all members of the Tri-Cities Wordsmiths. If you write, join us.

February 22’s Author’s Afternoon at the PoMo Arts Centre A was an amazing turnout.
In March I started to Practice Chinese Calligraphy. This is also in line with my wishes to embrace my late entry into being Chinese.

March 22 I hosted a coffee group at The Grit Cafe & Studio. Counting all the people I wanted to have a coffee with and to exchange ideas, I decided to invite anyone who wanted to talk “Book” and all these people showed up! Cezar Salaveria, artist and the owner of the Grit joined us and took this photo. The energy was amazing as everyone shared ideas. Meeting IRL is way better than online.

April 19 Coles Books, Lougheed Mall. As usual, I meet interesting people. When they stop by to chat, there’s no telling what stories they have to offer me. I love the exchange…. and of course, I sold books!
Tuesday, May 12. I was so honoured to be invited by the St. Andrew Book Club to join their discussion of my book.

To sit with this wonderful group of women, listen to their thoughtful questions, and share such meaningful conversations over tea and treats was truly special to me.
Thank you so much for your warmth, kindness, and invitation, ladies. I left feeling deeply grateful.
If you or you know of a book club of ten or more members, write to me for a book club set.
May 24: Indigo Granville & Broadway.
